MCAA CONFERENCE FACTS
MEETINGS AND SEMINARS
The "Masonry Construction Forum," MCAA's two-day Pre-Conference Management Institute, will start at 1:30 on Wednesday afternoon, February 25, in the Palace Room, Mezzanine Level of the MGM Grand. The concluding segment will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, in the Bijou/Century Rooms. Please note that special registration is required.
MCAA Committee meetings will be held Friday morning, February 27, at 9:00 in the designated rooms of the MGM Grand.
MCAA Regional Vice Presidents' Conferences will be held Friday afternoon, February 27, at 1:15 in the designated rooms of the MGM Grand.
The well-received Saturday Morning Workshops will start at 8:30 on Saturday morning, February 28. These group participation seminars make it possible for MCAA members to attend a variety of presentations on industry-oriented subjects. The staggered time format allows you to choose any three of the four workshops best suited to your individual needs. Consult the Conference Program in this issue for the time and location of each Workshop.
The Opening Session of the Conference will begin Monday morning, March 2, at 9:00 in the Capitol Room of the MGM Grand.
ANNUAL MEETING
Tuesday, March 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the Capitol Room. MCAA members only. Badges must be worn for admittance!
PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION
This hour-long social event will take place on Saturday, February 28, at 2:00p.m. in the Grand Salon. All MCAA members and their ladies are invited. The Reception will be followed at 3:00 p.m. by a ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opening the '81 MCAA Educational Trade Show in the Grand Ballroom.
EXTRA SPECIAL SUNDAY PRESENTATION
The sensational musical review, "Hello Hollywood Hello," will be presented on Sunday evening, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ziegfeld Theatre of the MGM. Tickets are on a limited, first-come basis to MCAA members at $37.50 per person, which includes the show and dinner. This is a special rate given to MCAA, so why not take advantage of some really fabulous entertainment? Tickets must be reserved in advance by contacting the MCAA Executive Office.
LADIES ACTIVITIES
A special program is planned for all MCAA ladies. There will be an MCAA Ladies Headquarters set up in the Strand/Tivoli/ Globe Rooms starting on Friday, February 27. The headquarters will serve as a gathering point and a place to relax with friends as well as the information center concerning ladies events.
WHAT TO WEAR IN RENO
The weather for February/March in Reno is expected to be on the cool side, with temperatures in the 40s. Warm apparel, including sweaters and coats, is recommended. Casual dress is the rule in the daytime; however, gentlemen should plan to wear jackets and ties for dinner shows.

Tuesday evening, March 3, at 7:30 in the Grand Ballroom. The highlight of the evening will be the installation of newly elected officers. Arrange for table assignments at the MCAA Registration Desk, Lobby Level.

MCAA EDUCATIONAL TRADE SHOW
The '81 MCAA Educational Trade Show-which will run for three days from Saturday, February 28 to Monday, March 2-will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the MGM Grand. Some of the larger equipment displays will be in a designated area adjacent to the hotel, where many firms will demonstrate their equipment on Sunday morning (see "Masonry Industry Showcase" for details).

MASONRY INDUSTRY SHOWCASE
Sunday morning, March 1, at 11:00, in a designated area adjacent to the MGM Grand. This two-hour program-presented by the MCAA Material Handling and Safety Committees-has been structured to permit ample time for the actual equipment demonstrations plus individual discussion periods with the manufacturers regarding the fine points of their equipment.
