It's On to Orlando In '82
Planning In Gear for MCAA's 32nd Masonry Conference & Show
Combining business with pleasure at MCAA's 32nd International Masonry Conference & Educational Trade Show February 12-16, 1982 in Orlando (Kissimmee), Florida-should be as easy as diving off a springboard or soaking up the sun. The sun and water, as well as countless other major attractions in the Sunshine State, combine to create a compelling spa to escape to from the winter's doldrums. An added bonus will be the weather, which generally is near perfect that time of year.
MCAA's Conference hotel, the Orlando Hyatt House, which hosted MCAA's 1975 Conference and provided superb facilities, is an attraction in itself. It's also in the center of just about everything worth seeing and enjoying in the area. Four of Central Florida's most exciting attractions are across the street, up the street, and down the street. The farthest, the Stars Hall of Fame, is only 8 minutes away. Sea World and Circus World are 6 to 7 minutes away. The world famous Walt Disney World and the adjacent Shopping Village at Lake Buena Vista are a scant 5 minutes away and can be reached with the Hyatt's complimentary bus service that operates on an hourly basis.
Other attractions closeby include Cypress Gardens (35 minutes). Kennedy Space Center (60 minutes), and Silver Springs (85 minutes). Add to these nearby dog racing, harness racing, jai-alai, auto racing, themed water playgrounds, alligator farms, beaches on the Gulf and Atlantic, and you'll find the Orlando Hyatt is square in the middle of Central Florida's exciting action.
The Hyatt's 960 guest rooms are uniquely arranged in four clusters or "mini-hotels," each with its own swim.
