JOB RPOIRI"
Nets 35% More Profit by Using MORGEN Scaffolding Instead of Tubular Scaffolding
"Morgen Scaffolding substantially increases productive time compared to what we were getting on tubular scaffolding," says Mickey Nifong, masonry superintendent for R & B Masonry Co., Walnut Cove, N.C.
He said it does a lot more than Morgen claims it does, and he's glad to see someone that doesn't oversell their product. For example, he says, "It's much safer than tubes, We think it's the only scaffolding to use on commercial work. It really makes money-up to 35% more than when you work on tubes. On this job Morgen cut labor costs in half." In a 10-hour work day, 10 masons laid 2,880 12" block, and he says they were slowed down because it had to be a first class job.
On Morgen Scaffolding they lose only a half hour per man per day the 15-minute coffee break in the morning and afternoon. They lost 1½ hours per man per day on tubular scaffolding while they were jumping planks.
"From now on," Nifong says, "we will always have Morgen Scaffolding on our jobs."
