Exterior Insulation
Stone Mountain Mfg. Co., Inc., P.O. Box 7320, Norfolk, VA 23509, is offering literature on its recently developed FiberBond Exterior Insulation Coating System. The system eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners and the embedding of glass fiber mesh fabric over the face of insulation boards. The system is claimed to increase R-value efficiency by allowing the mass of the substrate to be located within the insulation envelope, thereby reducing heating/cooling costs.
Compact Computer
Large computer power has been brought directly to the construction site as the result of a new generation of computers that can be used virtually anywhere. This unit-Hewlett-Packard's HP-75C-is the first to combine true computer characteristics with full portability. Weighing just 26 oz. and measuring 10" x 5" x 14", the HP-75C can either run on batteries or plug in as a desktop unit for use with a variety of peripherals.
