HARBOURITE-For Stucco, Mortar
Harbourite is a synthetic fiber specially engineered and cut to desired lengths for stucco, mortar and pea gravel mixes. Harbourite provides tremendous resistance to high-impact, shattering and abrasive conditions while providing a unique and effective method of crack control and reducing construction time. Harbourite is completely alkali resistant.

Advantages of HARBOURITE
1. Easy to use just add to the mix.
2. Produces ductile, shatter resistant concrete-not brittle-reduces culls and cracking from handling and shipping precast units.
3. Inhibits cracking caused by volume change due to drying shrinkage.
4. No corrosion or chemical reaction. Alkali resistant.
5. Provides a new dimension, toughness, to stucco, mortar and precast units.

Where Used
Harbourite can be used in or with pre-packaged dry material, stucco, mortar, gunniting, shot-crete and similar applications. Harbourite is recommended for small line pumps such as 2" (51mm) mortar and stucco pumps and spray guns. It is ideal for use in precast concrete block and tile.

Types and Dosage Rates
Harbourite is available in a variety of sizes and types, both mono filament and fibrillated form; each engineered to suit one or more of the many different uses and processes of producing stucco and mortar products. Harbourite is used at the rate of 1 pound per 1000 pounds of dry stucco or mortar mix. Quantities may vary for specific applications and desired end results. CONTROL

HARBOURITE
Tests prove Harbourite fibers inhibit shrinkage cracking. Photos show non-fiber slab at 24 hours with considerable cracking, which started at 2.5 hours. At 24 hours and even after 28 days, slab of same concrete with Harbourite had virtually no cracking. Harbourite also increases impact resistance and reduces permeability. Major benefits for stucco jobs.
