BIA Produces Brick
Fireplace Brochure

"Beautiful Fireplaces" is the title of a new four-page brochure produced by the Brick Institute of America featuring full-color photography of brick fireplaces.

Like its companion publication, "Chimneys Can Be Beautiful," this brochure is intended as an idea piece for builders and consumers to encourage the use of brick fireplaces.

Copies can be purchased for 50 cents each, or 30 cents each in quantities of 25 or more, from BIA, 11490 Commerce Park Dr., Reston, VA 22091.

Century-Fox, Inc.
Acquires Ram-Pac

Century-Fox, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hader Industries, Inc., Pewaukee, Wis., has announced the acquisition of the entire Ram-Pac hydraulic product line of Duff-Norton Co., a subsidiary of Amstar Corp.

With the acquisition, Century-Fox, a major manufacturer of hydraulic tools for construction and general industry, has transferred all Ram-Pac manufacturing equipment and stock to Pewaukee from Duff-Norton plants in Lenoir and Charlotte, NC.

National Wire to Open
New Plant in Georgia

National Wire Products Corp., Baltimore, Md., manufacturer of welded wire products for masonry and concrete reinforcement, is building a new state-of-the-art production plant in the Shenandoah Industrial Park in Newnan, Ga. The 250,000 sq. ft. facility is slated to open in late 1986, according to Raymond Faust, National Wire president.

The company has five plants in the eastern United States. With the opening of the Newnan facility, a smaller plant in Atlanta will be closed, Faust said.

CIMA Celebrates Its 75th

The Construction Industry Manufacturers Association (CIMA) will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee at its Annual Meeting in November, 1986, observing 75 years of service to construction equipment manufacturers and the entire construction industry.

From an almost exclusive focus on roadbuilding in the early 1900s, the association now represents construction equipment manufacturers' business concerns on a worldwide basis. CIMA is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis.
