The jury felt that the two stretched curves on the front of the building was a tremendous design solution to a standard industrial building. They further commented, "The architect who designed this spectacular building has shown a great deal of imagination. We compliment the architect in working with the developer who was willing to permit the architect the freedom to design what we consider a very handsome and striking industrial building, with this level of design aesthetics and texture."

The judges felt that the architect produced a strong regional statement that had both historical reference to the region, but was fresh with new ideas simultaneously with the historical reference. They said, "The use of similar materials and traditional metaphors, particularly in the lobby, convey a freshness of the project in both the coloration and the configuration. The craftsmanship you can see in the lobby, is also evident on the exterior. It is a very carefully handled, very carefully detailed and has a nicely proportioned exterior."
