MCAA Executive Board

Meets In Napa Valley

Journeying to California and Yountville in the beautiful Napa Valley, the MCAA Executive Board held its Summer Meeting at the Vintage Inn on June 22-25. With a full schedule of meetings, the business sessions got underway on Thursday morning with the Finance, Safety, Education and Panel Committees holding meetings. Then at noon, the members and their wives boarded busses for the Silverado Country Club in Napa where they were the guests of Stucco Stone Products, Inc. for lunch. Following which they toured the Stucco Stone facilities in Napa where they visited the production line, testing lab and show room. Immediately following, they travelled to the Napa Creek Winery where they toured the winery, tested the final product and relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful vineyards.

Friday morning, additional committee meetings were held with the Membership and Constitution & By-Laws Committees reviewing completed projects and planning for the future.

Saturday morning, President Hatch called the Board Meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. in the Vineyard Terrace Room of the 1870 complex. Minutes of the meeting have been sent to all Board Members. One of the major decisions considered at the meeting was the endorsement of the "World of Masonry" (see details on the News page).
