Gehl Company has announced a loss for 1991 and the completion of agreements to restructure its debt to provide greater stability for the ongoing operations of the company. Gehl, a leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural equipment distributed worldwide, reported a net loss of $19.3-million on sales of $127-million in 1991.
Mankato-Kasota Stone of Mankato, Minnesota, has acquired Valders Stone and Marble, quarriers and fabricators of dolomitic limestone in Valders, Wisconsin, and has appointed James Coughlan as general manager. Acquired in this transaction were building stone quarries eighty miles north of Milwaukee and an adjacent computerized stone finishing facility.
The construction products division of Master Builders has teamed with Robert 1. Rowan Associates to offer a total system solution for compressor alignment, grouting and foundation repair. Throughout the U.S., this joint venture will be supported by the sales organizations of both companies.
Atlas Bolt and Screw Company. Ashland, Ohio, has established a national distribution center in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania in order to improve response time and availability of the company's line of fasteners and accessories for construction. In addition, the facility will function as the sales and service center for the northeast and midwest.
