Adhesives and sealant manufacturer recently became part of the French chemical group Total. Unification with Total was preceded by subsidiary relationships with Emhart Corporation and Black and Decker.
Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift, the joint venture Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Limited, and Caterpillar Industrial recently agreed to form, will be set up as three separate companies, one based in the U.S., one in Europe and the third in Singapore.
R. S. Lauder, Gaspar and Company, LP American Industrial Partners has announced formation of a new, integrated construction materials company called Sunshine Materials. Headquartered in Inverness, Florida, the company will produce aggregates, ready mix concrete, asphalt and other materials for the construction industry in west central Florida. Sunshine Materials has purchased operating assets from CBS Industries, Cleremont, Florida, and Carroll Contracting and Ready Mix, Inverness, Florida, and a fifty percent interest in stone quarries operated by Independent Aggregates in Ingles, Florida.

Frank W. Jones and Mark Train have been elected to the board of directors of TRAK International. Jones, formerly executive director of Giddings and Lewis, is currently a member of several boards of directors. Train, currently executive vice president, secretary and treasurer for Jason Incorporated, is a member of two other boards.
John G. Norko has been named chief financial officer of Steetly Brick Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Norko, who Joined Steetly subsidiary KF Brick in 1989 as controller, will assume responsibilities for overall management of financial affairs of Steetley Brick and its three subsidiaries, Cushwa Brick of Maryland, Harmar Brick of Pennsylvania and KF Brick of Connecticut.
Dr. Gary C. Hart of the UCLA Department of Civil Engineering and the immediate past president of the Masonry Society, has been named the editor of the Masonry Society Journal.
Paul C. Dreir has joined Liquid Control Corporation as market development manager, and William Berry has been named customer service manager for the company. Continued on Page 44
