Functional Design Award for Ohio Lab Building
THE TRIONIX RESEARCH Laboratories, Twinsburg, Ohio, won the Ohio Concrete Block Association's 1992 Excellence in Concrete Masonry Merit Award for Functional Design. Building was chosen for its simple, yet striking design showing detailed masonry shapes and patterns not often found on similar warehouse type structures, and excellent color consistency of both units and mortar. Architect was Geis Construction of Twinsburg. Mason Contractor was Greer Masonry of Akron. Concrete block supplier was Akron Brick and Block of Akron.
