Recycled Brick Adds New Interior Life
By PAUL SNYDER
President, Unique Productions
When old turn of the century brick buildings are demolished, making way for new, modern structures, the problem arises of what to do with all of the debris. The old brick may be discarded as ordinary rubble or reused as in this quaint stove enclosure. Because of the age of the brick, old mortar can be easily scraped clean, leaving a variety of shades and hues that provide a warm and cozy atmosphere. Adding the arch with angle bond gives character that only masonry can provide.
