Masonry Expo Sets New Records
MCAA's Annual Conference and Masonry Expo '94 beats all previous exhibitor and attendance records, draws visitors from around the world to view some 80,000 square feet of exhibits.
ATLANTA, Georgia, the new south's liveliest and fastest growing city, played host to Masonry Expo '94 and the Mason Contractors Association of America's Annual Conference, February 23 through February 28. The Expo, combined with the Machinery and Equipment Show this year, was the most successful to date in the event's five year history.
Besides setting attendance records, with more than 5.000 members of the industry from all over the world- North. Central and South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia-attending, over 250 companies utilized some 60,000 square feet of space to exhibit the latest in products and services for the industry. The Expo was totally "sold out" early in January unable to accommodate any late requests for exhibit space after that time. Products and services exhibited ranged from consulting services, admixtures and chemicals to hoists, mixers, machinery, scaffolding systems and rough terrain forklifts.
In conjunction with the Expo, which is sponsored by eight major national industry associations, the Mason Contractors Association of America, The Masonry Society and the National Concrete Masonry Association held their annual meetings. Immediately prior to the MCAA Con-
