About Phoenix
As the seventh-largest city in the United States, Phoenix offers a multitude of cultural and recreational activities. Although a thoroughly contemporary metropolitan city, Phoenix and the entire Valley of the Sun has not forgotten its past. Native American, Spanish, Anglo and African American influences have merged there, creating a distinct flavor found no where else. Blending the rugged old West with the urban new West, the city gives you the opportunity to enjoy a full range of dining experiences, outstanding museums, art galleries, performing arts, horseback riding, Western cookouts and cowboy shoot-outs. Mark your calendars and make plans to join us in the "Valley of the Sun" and get ready for fiery sunsets and distinctive Southwestern heritage.

For a real taste of the Old West, experience Arizona as it was in the 1880's. Make plans to join MCAA and NCMA for an Old West Cookout at Rawhide. As Arizona's largest western attraction, Rawhide captures the romance of the Old West in every way imaginable. Main Street comes alive with shootouts, an antique saloon, general store, working blacksmith and twenty western shops. After your time in town, climb aboard an old-fashioned haywagon for a sunset hayride into the desert, complete with bonfires, western music and the smell of mesquite smoke from the barbeques. If you haven't been to an MCAA Conference or MASONRY EXPO recently or if you have never been, this will be the year to attend. In addition to the thousands of dollars in savings at EXPO, the MCAA is once again offering a strong program of educational seminars and workshops, demonstrations and social events to make this year's MCAA Conference and MASONRY EXPO an event that you can't and shouldn't miss.
