Taking nearly two days to prepare for the official opening of the exhibits, MASONRY EXPO has become the premier showcase for masonry industry products, equipment and services. Nearly 1,000 exhibit and convention center staff work for two days to move in the more than 800 tons of freight, lay 5000 square feet of carpet, hang 4000 square feet of drapery in the 150,000 square feet of floor space at the Phoenix Civic Plaza.
Mason contractors can view products from trowels, levels, mortar tubs, saws and blades, mixers, scaffolding, glass block, forklifts, reinforcements, mortar delivery equipment to computer estimating programs. All giving mason contractors the opportunity to compare products and equipment features and benefits first hand all under one roof.
With the official opening following the keynote speaker luncheon, the opening will mark the ninth year that the masonry industry has come together under the MASONRY EXPO banner and the second time that Phoenix played host to the masonry industry. The exhibits officially open on Friday, January 17 and conclude on Sunday with the finals of the fastest trowel competition. Continued on next page
