Modern Quarrying and Fabrication Technologies

The harvesting of natural stones for use in building construction is one of man's oldest crafts. The properties and behavior of natural stone materials have not changed since man's early endeavors in manufacturing usable products from these raw materials. While the raw product is unchanged, the means and methods of harvest can and have been dramatically improved. These improvements have resulted in commercial, safety, quality, and environmental benefits.
