Fastest Trowel on the Block Competition, Sponsored by DAVIS COLORS
Watch Mike Revas of Yocum Masonry, Redland, CA defend his title at the 1998 Fastest Trowel On The Block Competition to be held Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22 at the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, NC. Sixteen masons competed in last year's event and we expect as many or more in Charlotte. The 1997 event was a close competition with the winner placing only 3 points ahead of the two second place winners! The Fastest Trowel competition is a fun and fast paced event that showcases masonry craftsmanship, promotes masonry construction and encourages young people to consider careers in masonry. The event will again be sponsored by Davis Colors.

DONALD C. GRANT
If you attended the MCAA Conference and Masonry Expo last year in Phoenix, you were part of the best Conference & Expo yet! The mason contractors who attended raved about the quality and usefulness of the educational opportunities. They were overwhelmed by the networking opportunities that existed from meeting fellow mason contractors. And many even marveled at the savings that their firms received by placing orders for equipment directly with the exhibitors at Expo.
If you attended last year, wait 'til you see the program we have planned for you in Charlotte, North Carolina from February 18 through February 22. You won't want to miss it.
If you did not attend last year, this will be a great opportunity to come back to the MCAA Conference and MASONRY EXPO. Not only will you and your employees have numerous opportunities to attend workshops and seminars but if you come prepared to "shop" at the Expo, you can save your company thousands of dollars by taking advantage of the show specials offered by many of our exhibitors. In fact, if you place your equipment orders at Expo, the savings will undoubtedly pay for your trip to Charlotte.
Set aside the problems of running your business. Attending the MCAA Conference and MASONRY EXPO is your time to educate, motivate and invest in yourself.
In this attendance registration brochure, you will find the program we have planned for you. Everything you will need to register for the MCAA Conference & MASONRY EXPO is in this packet. I would like to point out that you can save your firm even more money by registering by December 12, 1997 to get the "Early Bird" discounted price. Don't put it off.
See you in Charlotte!
