General Conditions
In addition to understanding the scope of work, there's still another important specification division to read and understand - "Division 1: General Conditions". This division outlines everyone's responsibilities concerning the project and performance of the work. These responsibilities can include insurances, bonds, warranties, scaffolding, staging, winter weather protection, and much, much more. Of course, all these added responsibilities can cost you money - so should be accounted for in your bid. You can make your own proposal form but make sure you develop it to your specific needs.
