MASONRY SHOWCASE KEYNOTE
BRUNCH with Larry Csonka
Friday, 9:30-11:00 AM
Orange County Convention Center
Many remember Larry Csonka as the quintessential fullback of the outstanding Miami Dolphin teams of the 1970's and of the National Football League as a whole. His amazing story includes roaring through defensive lines during his eleven-year football career, earning him a Dolphin career rushing record, which still stands, of 6,736 yards. Add to that his rushing yards from his years with the New York Giants and you get a career rushing total of over 8,000 yards- placing him among the Top Ten in all time rushing. Csonka's importance to the game of football was exemplified when he was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame in 1987. His inclusion in the prestigious group came in only his second year of eligibility. After 3 successful seasons co-hosting the popular syndicated program American Gladiators, Csonka continues his television career as host of ESPN's Suzuki's Great Outdoors. He is also producer of ESPN's new outdoor adventure program North to Alaska. Larry Csonka will share his outrageously entertaining life story prior to the official opening of the 2001 Masonry Showcase.
