SOCIETY JOIN THE READERSHIP OF MASONRY
This month, we are pleased to welcome the members of The Masonry Society to our readership. The Masonry Society (TMS) is the professional society representing design engineers, architects, researchers and educators who are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge on masonry. TMS gathers and disseminates technical information through venues such as the TMS Journal, newsletter, educational programs and conferences. They provide the industry with such notable programs as the Professors Workshop, the MSJC Code Seminars, as well as the publishing of such books as the Masonry Designer's Guide. As part of their educational service, TMS and MCAA are sending MASONRY magazine to each of their members keeping them abreast of the latest industry trends which are highlighted in each issue. MASONRY magazine, much like The Masonry Society, has grown in stature and effectiveness as a prime source of information for the industry's professionals. We have been diligent in providing increasingly more useful information to our readership and to you, the mason contractor. It makes perfect sense that since the members of The Masonry Society and the Mason Contractors Association of America work closely together to advance masonry, that collectively they subscribe to MASONRY magazine.
Making MASONRY magazine even more rewarding to both the mason contractor and the design professional will be the publishing of the association's magazine on a monthly basis, which will begin January 1, 2001. Now readers will be able to benefit from our magazine's highly regarded features every month instead of on a bi-monthly basis.
As the only magazine that supports the future of the masonry industry, it is fitting that MASONRY magazine affiliates more closely with the membership of TMS. We welcome your readership and look forward to years of building a stronger industry together.
