GOOSENECK
IMPROVEMENTS
I often use a gooseneck trailer with my ton truck at work. Based on the design of my truck fenders, it is not possible to see the lights or know if my brakes are still hooked up while behind my truck. To confirm the connection to the truck on long trips I mounted two running lights on the neck of the trailer as a way to establish a good lights/brakes connection to my truck, which I can easily see through my rear view mirror.
When working off of a trailer over the course of a job the stepping on and off of the trailer is cumbersome. I simply welded a step at the base of the neck to make access to the bed of the trailer easier.
