ded in mortar or grout. For corrugated and sheet metal anchors, mortar should be placed under and on top of the anchor. This full embedment provides load transfer and reduces corrosion potential.
SUMMARY
Veneer anchors have specific physical, dimensional, and construction requirements in order to assure that they perform properly. When the mason contractor provides anchors of the specified shape and size and installs them correctly, it results in a brick veneer that is expected to last a lifetime. J.
