# President’s Message
`
As I write this article, I am preparing to attend the MCAA Mid-Year Meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. I am also looking forward to the meetings that will be held.
We will be discussing many important issues that affect our industry. One of the most important issues is the shortage of skilled labor. We need to find ways to attract more young people to our trade. We also need to find ways to train our existing workforce so that they can keep up with the latest technology.
Another important issue is the rising cost of materials. We need to find ways to control these costs so that we can remain competitive. We also need to find ways to use materials more efficiently.
I am confident that we can address these challenges and continue to be successful. We have a strong industry with a lot of talented people. Together, we can make a difference.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their support. Your support is essential to our success. I would also like to thank our staff for their hard work and dedication. They are the best in the business.
Sincerely,
Robert Melton
MCAA President

* Drink plenty of fluids.
* Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing.
* Take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
* Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
* Watch out for signs of heat stress, such as headache, dizziness, nausea, and weakness.
