A Bad Day, With Good Equipment!

Just a note concerning some of the stumbling blocks we have encountered.
1. Waterproofing at basement addition was scheduled for today, June 18. It was a no-show. Delayed the backfill operation which allows us to finish blockwork at east end of north addition.
2. Need misc. steel to complete basement addition-bearing plates: Load below waist columns and angle iron for dock planks expected Thursday, June 20.
3. Steel drawings for layout of bearing plates seen to be a question mark for this job. Will not set one bearing plate without this approved drawing.
4. A mistake by the foundation crew may create a small problem for us in the brick veneer; a 2" soap makes the problem go away.
5. Steve, as I see it now we may have to pull out as early as the middle of next week; completion of more concrete footings along with steel complications are definitely the deciding factor.
6. Thank God for the grout hog. I just can't imagine this job without one. Even got the Rooster seal of approval. "Sheit kid, that damn thing gets right wif it."
