Pine Hall Brick Constructs
Addition to Georgia Facility
To continue meeting the growing demand for brick for residential applications, Pine Hall Brick is building an addition to its state-of-the-art production facility near Fairmount, Ga. Slated for completion by year's end, construction of the new addition began in April and will increase capacity to 120 million bricks per year and add 20 new jobs. The addition comes after less than a year of full operations.
The construction plan includes the addition of a new kiln and production line to the existing one-kiln plant. The Georgia plant complex is large enough to accommodate raw material reserves, manufacturing, inventory storage and easy major highway access from a one-site location. The plant produces cored face brick and paving brick for the residential and commercial markets. The expansion is an addition to current capacity and is not affecting operations or employment at any of the company's other manufacturing facilities.
