Anchoring Innovations From WIRE-BOND®!

The WIRE-BOND® Clip

Straight-and-cut wire fits easily into the clip providing a long continuous system in the brick veneer. Systems are delivered with clips already attached. The clip and wire fit into a 3/8" mortar joint. No more oversized joints.

The WIRE-BOND Clip is available on all our adjustable systems. The clip conforms to the AC1530 Code: seismic performance categories A-E. All WIRE-BOND seismic products are fully tested.

Stone Anchors

WIRE-BOND stone anchors: Customized craftsmanship for your next stone veneer project.

We work from your architectural drawings to cut and bend to your exact specifications. Sizes and shapes shown below are just a few of the designs we can make. Available in galvanized hot dip and high grade 304 stainless steel. Our specialized manufacturing facilities insure quick turn-around to meet your construction deadlines.

Type III-X Anchor

WIRE-BOND's Type III-X Anchor installs quickly and easily on exterior walls with brick veneer while providing positive contact with metal studs. It transfers compression loads to the steel stud backup.

Available in 14 gauge and 12 gauge (plate). Finishes include mill galvanized, hot dip galvanized, and stainless steel.

The Type III-X Anchor, with 3/16" adjustable tie, meets the Brick Institute of America's requirement of a maximum deflection of less than .05 inches (1.2 mm) when tested at an axial load of 100 pounds in tension and compression. Prongs on the anchors are available in lengths to accommodate 1", 1-1/2", 2", and 2-1/2" insulation.

HCL-711 Anchoring System

WIRE-BOND'S HCL-711 Anchoring System installs quickly and easily on exterior walls with brick veneer while providing positive contact with metal studs and avoiding damage to wallboard. With the metal studs spaced at 16" intervals, the system provides a 16" squared grid.

The legs of the HCL-711s provide the platform for the insulation. This eliminates potential insulation damage, improves thermal performance, and maintains the R value. No need to penetrate varying amounts of insulation while guessing for direct contact with the stud. The pintles serve to secure the insulation to the exterior wallboard. The simplified installation procedure saves on labor costs.
