The Midwest Builders Show is March 16-17, 2005, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, III.
The Midwest Builders Show brings together manufacturers, suppliers and distributors to demonstrate the abilities and resources of home building companies and affiliated trades in an exchange of products, ideas and information. It is focused on drawing attendees from an eight-state region that includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin, but is open to anyone affiliated with the housing industry.
Also this year, the show will offer national scale educational opportunities to raise attendees' level of knowledge in relation to their work and provide networking opportunities to enhance professionalism and innovation in the industry. Education topics include subjects such as architecture and design, business planning, customer service, sales and marketing, financial management and profitability, and land development. Participants also can take advantage of certification programs such as the National Association of Home Builder's Institute of Residential Marketing and Master Certified Sales Professional courses.

MCAA's Workforce Development efforts are getting attention all across the country, most recently in the Northeast.
MCAA was contacted in January by the Assistant Director of a high school career and technical education center in Brattleboro, Vt. This school is interested in working with MCAA to develop a regional instructional center for masons, serving the tri-state area of Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
