W/W Bartlett's masonry work on the St. Martin's
Episcopal Church in Houston won first place in the
MCAA's freerational Excellence in Masonry
Award's Governmencnstitutional category. The
church design utilizes 850.000 bricks, 180 self-sup-
porting brick arches, and a cast stone frontispiece
between the two towers installed 90 feet up and
made in 56 pieces, the largest weighing 1.200
pounds. The architect on the project was Jackson &
Ryan Architects.
