# Chicago
The MCA of Greater Chicago is sponsoring its annual Charity Classic Golf Outing at the beautiful Itasca Country Club on May 12. The event helps fund Alzheimer benefits and Projects of the Heart, a charity benefiting young cancer patients.
The event will begin with a lunch at 11:30 am., followed by the shotgun start at 1 p.m. The day will come to a close with a tremendous banquet dinner, drinks and prizes-all for a great cause!

# Michigan
The Michigan Mason Contractors' Association (MMCA) had a large turnout in Chicago for the Masonry Showcase at Construct America. MMCA participants took part in a reception at the Fairmont Chicago on Thursday evening, a general membership meeting Friday morning, and dinner and a show at Second City Friday evening.
MMCA's annual spring meeting and golf outing is being planned for Tuesday, May 10° in Webberville.
The annual fall meeting and board of director election will be held at the Bay Harbor Resort Petoskey during the weekend of Sept. 16-18, 2005. Several family activities are planned at the beautiful resort on the shores of Lake Michigan.

The 2005-2006 North Carolina Masonry Contractors Association (NCMCA) Membership Directory will be distributed in August. Like previous editions, the directory will include comprehensive listings for all member firms including company representatives, local and toll-free phone numbers, fax numbers, mobile numbers, and e-mail, web site, mailing and shipping addresses. The Association bylaws are included as well as information about local chapter meetings

MIA Annual Conference
The National Masonry Instructors Association (NMIA) is holding its annual conference at the Sand Dunes Resort in Myrtle Beach, S.C., July 10-12, 2005. To qualify for the special group rates at the resort, reservations must be received by May 26.
Some of the activities planned include an opening reception, general session with several speakers, a community service project, social hour and awards banquet, annual meeting and CEU credit hours.
