Trenwyth Industries Doubles Capacity in the Midwest
Trenwyth Industries, a leading manufacturer of high-end architectural concrete masonry units, has commenced production at their new state-of-the-art block manufacturing and finishing facility located in Morris (Channahon), III. This expansion enables Trenwyth to not only increase production capacity of all ground face items produced in the Midwest, but it also provides the opportunity to increase quality and productivity through the installation of state-of-the-art equipment.
Located on a 15-acre site within a larger 90-acre supersite, this fully-integrated facility will enable Trenwyth to more than double capacity of their ground face operation previously located in South Beloit, III. Trenwyth's South Beloit facility will continue to house manufacturing operations for its glazed masonry units.
United Rentals Board Commences Search For New CFO
United Rentals, Inc. announced that its board of directors terminated the employment of John Milne, the company's president and CFO, for cause. The board took this action because, as previously announced, Milne has been unwilling to respond to questions of the special committee of the board reviewing matters relating to the previously disclosed SEC inquiry of the company. The company has commenced a search for a new CFO.

Trimble Receives ASTM Award Of Merit
The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International recently awarded Brian Trimble with its 2005 Award of Merit for his work on ASTM Committee C12 on Mortars and Grouts for Unit Masonry. This award is the highest Society award given by ASTM and is accompanied by the title of Fellow. Trimble was recognized for his outstanding chairmanship of ASTM Subcommittee C12.03 on Specifications for Mortars and for his contributions in serving as co-chair of the 2006 Joint Masonry Symposium Committee. ASTM recognized Trimble's significant contributions in the development of new standards and for his efforts in maintaining and updating these standards.
Trimble, who serves as the director of engineering services and architectural outreach for the Brick Industry Association, is a professional engineer and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
