It is estimated that more than 2 million workers in the United States, alone, are exposed to crystalline silica each year, while an estimated 100,000 are at high risk to develop Silicosis. Silicosis is an incurable and irreversible lung disease, yet it is 100 percent preventable.
IQ is committed to designing intelligent tools that significantly decrease exposure to silica dust when dry-cutting masonry products such as stone, bricks, blocks, pavers and tiles. IQ's product line includes masonry power tools that feature fully integrated dust collection systems, eliminating on average 99.5 percent of dust.
