Intermediate School 2300 Annex is a four-story, steel�
framed and concrete slab structure with a brick and
block vented cavity wall exterior. Brick and cast-stone
elements were combined in a contemporary adaptation
of the architectural ornamentation found throughout the
neighborhood, New York City's Jackson Heights Historic
District. The project earned Best in Class in the 2016 BIA
Brick in Architecture Awards, Education -K-12. More
