Creston Avenue Residence opened in 2015. It has 66 residences including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Though its aesthetics match the neighborhood, the building's residents live in affordable housing that does not look so affordable. It speaks to the most important goal of the project: improving the health of residents by giving them homes they not can count on to be there for them, but also to provide an address they can be proud of.
Creston Avenue Residence received several design awards for MAP in 2015, including the Brick in Architecture Award, Best in American Living Award, Builder's Choice Merit Award, and the SARA Celebration of Architecture and Design Award.
The Creston Avenue Residence was the first project to .be funded in part by the state of New York's Medicaid Redesign Team Housing Capital Program.
