LATICRETE raises money for TCAA Scholarships, CTEF Education

Words: Jared CooperLATICRETE, a manufacturer of installation and finishing systems for the building industry, says a joint auction of 12 commissioned industry mosaic artists’ pieces with the Tile Contractors Association of America (TCAA), Ceramic Tile Distributor’s Association (CTDA), and the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) raised nearly $7,000 at Total Solutions Plus (TSP) 2013 in November.

Held in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of LATICRETE SPECTRALOCK Grout product line, 100 percent of the proceeds from the auction were donated to the TCAA scholarship fund and Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) educational efforts.

LATICRETE participated in several other events related to the show’s “Partners in Progress” theme. LATICRETE was one of 75 manufacturers to display in the table top exhibition. The company held a “state of the industry” breakfast for its customers and distributors to give them the opportunity to ask LATICRETE staff questions and learn more about the company’s outlook for the industry in the upcoming year.
