ward to enhance lateral stability at all lift heights. There's a 21'6" forward reach. Hyster high reach, rough terrain trucks feature a frame leveling design that keeps loads level on slopes to 20%. The human engineered operator's compartment has the seat high and left of center for increased visibility. All controls are within easy reach. Four wheel hydraulic steering provides three steering modes-coordinated, crab or front wheel-to provide maneuverability. Inside turning radius is 66".

The 260 and 270 are powered by the Perkins 1004-4 diesel, delivering 82.5 HP. Full-time, four-wheel drive and a powershift transmission provide the three work-matching speeds ranging from 3.6 to 17.5 MPH in forward and reverse. Inching and braking are pedal controlled. 13.00 x 24 8-ply loader grader tires are used all around for traction and flotation. Four-wheel enclosed hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping power.

New from Champ Corporation is the Model CP-80 rough terrain forklift designed for non-towable construction, farming and outside storage applications where maximum traction, flotation, power and maneuverability are required.

The CP-80 is rated 8,000# capacity with wide view standard or tri-stage masts that are available to 21 feet. The drive train features an inboard planetary drive axle with internal wet disc brakes, Warner Gear PRI power shuttle transmission with torque convertor, Perkins 4.236 diesel or Ford 300 gas engines and trunnion mounted steer axle. Standard tires include 13.00 x 24 drive and 9.00 x 15 steer. Rugged construction, tight turning and low maintenance make this Champ the machine to rely upon in the toughest of conditions.
