CONTRACTOR FRIENDS
If you're in business, and you're good at what you do, you're going to have competitive pressure. If your competitors do not have good ethics and morals, sometimes they will attack your company and your reputation instead of using their time to improve their product.
Our ethics tell us to ignore such attacks, and up to now we always have, but this latest one is so outrageous and potentially damaging that we just have to respond.
Like you, we were shocked when we read the ad on page 33 of the July/August edition of Masonry Construction magazine. Someone, obviously a competitor, placed a fictitious ad intended to slander the name of Non-Stop Scaffolding, Inc., a family business that evolved from a successful 25-year-old masonry contracting firm.
Using a phony name (Kubake Import Scaffolds), a disconnected telephone number, and a "mail drop" address, they tried to fool you into thinking Non-Stop is no longer in business, and that our products are a poor-quality import. What a desperate, pathetic way to compete.
It didn't work. Nobody believed it. We were flooded with supportive letters and phone calls from current and future customers. Thirty years of integrity; thirty years of quality; thirty years of friendship with an industry cannot be undone with one page of lies.
So, to the cowards who attacked us we issue a challenge: We welcome your competition and will match our product against yours anywhere and anytime. All we expect is that you meet us face to face and let the scaffolding speak for itself.
To our loyal customers and friends who have rallied around us, the Breithaupt family says "thank you". We intend to repay your loyalty and trust with another thirty years of the highest quality American-made products with a lifetime guarantee. We started out in this business giving you the same exceptionally high quality scaffolding we made for ourselves for our own jobs. We have never backed off from that standard and never will. You in turn have made Non-Stop the number one brand of elevating scaffolding, and for that we are forever grateful. Thank you.
