Echelon Masonry Introduces Ashton Brick, Its Latest Line of Artisan Masonry Veneers

Words: Kevin Torok

Echelon Masonry, North America’s leader in architectural masonry products and materials, announces the availability of its newest product line of artisan masonry veneers, Ashton Brick, in select states. Combining a classic brick aesthetic with durable concrete in modern colors, it is a cost-effective yet design-forward solution for commercial builders, contractors and architects.

Ashton Brick masonry veneer is engineered to deliver consistency, style and safety. Its tight concrete texture provides a uniform appearance, enhances durability, and achieves a modern aesthetic, with integrated color throughout the entire unit. Each unit is fire and water resistant and cored for easy handling and installation.

“We’re proud to offer Ashton Brick to our partners and contractors, adding another innovative solution to our portfolio of products,” says Kevin Torok, Vice President of Masonry Sales, Oldcastle APG. “This product combines all the benefits of easy handling, efficient installation and long-lasting durability, making it an ideal choice for professionals seeking a top-quality solution. We’re excited to introduce this to the market and provide architects and builders with one of the safest, most stylish and cost-effective materials.”

Ashton Brick’s composition and quality provide several benefits, along with innovative features including:

  • Modern Colors: Ashton Brick is available in 4 colors – Linen, Desert, Graphite and Almond, making it suitable for a variety of design aesthetics. Its color is also through-body, minimizing waste and installation time. Five additional colors will be added later this year, providing architects and builders with even more options: Midnight, Cool Gray, Buckeye Tan, Thunderhead and Gray Granite.

  • Water Resistant: This masonry veneer is produced with RainBloc GP integral water repellent, which minimizes the risk of water damage. To build a moisture-resistant wall system, contractors can pair Ashton Brick with Amerimix Water Repellent Mortar.

  • Easy Installation: Each unit weighs just 4 lbs. and is made with three cores to ensure simple handling and installation on the job site.

  • Reduced Cost: Concrete masonry units are incredibly cost-effective materials. CMUs are resistant to fire, wind, mold, pests and water damage, reducing repair and maintenance costs over time. Masonry veneer like Ashton Brick can be particularly cost effective compared to traditional brick.

Echelon Masonry currently offers Ashton Brick in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee. For more information, view Echelon Masonry’s Ashton Brick cut sheet, contact your local Echelon Masonry sales rep, or request a sample.
