Foreman Development Course

Date: Jan. 18-19, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
As the construction industry continues to change, so should the ways that standout employees make their way upward in organizations. This course is designed to help both newer and experienced foremen evolve and find success in their respective roles. Attendees will leave with tips and tricks taught by the best and feel empowered in their role.

NEW! Quality Masonry: From Specs To Site

Date: Jan. 20, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This four-hour session expands on the Foreman Training track and focuses on delivering masonry that meets project specifications and passes inspection the first time. The instructors guide you through each phase of the quality-control process. Attendees receive checklists, sample forms, and links to digital resources to use back on the job.

NEW!  The AI Test Drive: An Interactive Education Session + Reception

Date: Jan. 20, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Join the MCAA and step into the GEORGE AI ecosystem. After a brief strategy and explainer session, you’ll use GEORGE AI at several hands-on stations in the Bronze Lot. This immersive education session is your opportunity to see how GEORGE AI can directly boost efficiency, productivity, safety, and ultimately your profitability. The event will conclude with an outdoor reception.

NEW! Masonry Wall Bracing (Internal, External, and Calculator)

Date: Jan 22, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This new content course is a three-part class. The first part would be an overview of the 2012 “Standard Practice for Bracing Masonry Walls Under Construction”. The second part is “The Practical Design of Temporary Masonry Wall Bracing” (which explains how to design both internal and external bracing systems). The final portion of the class will be a hands-on demonstration and activity to utilize the new MCAA wall bracing calculator. This is a do not miss class. If you are not utilizing internal bracing or you need a simple solution to determine your bracing needs, this will offer the solution.
