TMS will hold its Annual Meeting in San Antonio, November 10-15, 2011.
Help develop new masonry standards and resources and take a tour of the San Antonio Missions or stroll on the Riverwalk.

The Masonry Society has productive, educational, and enjoyable meetings planned that will start on November 10th with seminars on Direct Design of Masonry Structures and Special Inspection of Structural Masonry. On Friday, our business meetings start off, and this is a great opportunity to learn about masonry while contributing to the development of new publications, standards, and resources. Additional educational programs on a broad range of masonry topics will be presented on Saturday during our General Sessions, and the evening will end with the always enjoyable TMS Game Night where you have the opportunity to carve a "green brick" that will be fired and shipped back to you. Saturday will also host our Awards Luncheon - plan to attend to see which of our TMS Members are being recognized for their outstanding contributions. On Sunday, a tour of San Antonio's missions is planned. Further business meetings will take place on Sunday, and meetings of the Masonry Standards Joint Committee will continue through Tuesday. We hope we will see you there!

Information on the meetings is posted on TMS's "Meetings" website which can be accessed by clicking here. Registration is now open, and you can access an on-line registration form here.

I’ve been noticing an uptick in a very specific kind of application lately, and once you see the pattern, you can’t unsee it. The résumé usually reads like a family photo album. “Started helping my dad when I was 15.” “Worked summers, then full time.” “R
