EZG Manufacturing Granted ISO Certification Meeting International Standard for Quality Management Systems

Malta, OH - May 2, 2023 - EZG Manufacturing has announced that it has been granted an ISO certification. The International Organization for Standardization granted EZG the specific designation of ISO 9001:2015 with design, which certifies that the quality management systems within an organization meet the international standard.

According to Alex Hilton, EZG Quality Systems Manager, only about 5% of manufacturing companies in the U.S. have received the ISO 9001:2015 status, and of all U.S. companies, only about 0.5%.

The certification is based on several quality management principles, including a very strong customer focus, motivation from top management, the process approach, and continual improvement. But the simplest measurement is that customers consistently receive excellent products and services.

The ISO third-party certification is one of the most well-known and respected in the world. EZG management decided to begin the process of achieving ISO certification early in 2022. As part of the process of being certified, a third-party auditor conducted multiple phases of audits at EZG, closely monitoring and evaluating virtually every aspect of management and production. Despite the rigorous days-long evaluations during each phase, Hilton was pleased to report that the auditing team had no significant non-conformities.

"My job was easy," Hilton said. "EZG has always been extremely customer satisfaction-focused, continually delivering on time and as promised. ISO has stringent standards, but I realized that with appropriate record keeping, we were likely already meeting those standards, so the ISO Certification served as validation of EZG’s business philosophy."

While earning ISO Certification is exhaustive, the process of keeping it is just as thorough–bi-annual audits are required. “Retaining the certification serves as assurance to potential clients all over the world that EZG Manufacturing consistently meets the very highest of quality standards and we intend to keep improving,” Hilton said.

EZG Manufacturing has been in business since 1998 and is located at 1833 North Riverview Road in Malta, Ohio. To learn more about EZG, visitezgmfg.com.
