EZG Manufacturing, a leading provider of masonry and construction equipment with over 25 years of industry experience, is proud to announce the addition of the Mud Hog® Pump to its equipment lineup. The new model, MPC-240, continuous mixing pump offers cost-effective mixing without compromise.

The Mud Hog® Pump MPC-240 caters to a wide range of applications, including fireproofing, SLU self-leveling underlayment and toppings, grouting, micro-trench reinstatement, shotcrete, and LV-spray application. This versatile pump is engineered to excel in diverse construction scenarios.

Key specifications of the Mud Hog® Pump MPC-240 include:

  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 41" x 29" x 56" (1041 x 737 x 1422 mm)
  • Power: 220V 3-Phase
  • Weight Empty: 406 lbs. (184 kg)
  • Capacity: 4 cu.ft. / .2 m3 (approx. 7-8 bags)
  • Pump Volume: up to 220-240 bags/ hr.
  • Pump Distance: 200 ft (61 m)

According to Brian Kent, EZG Pump Sales Representative, "The key benefits of the MPC-240 include 3 phase/240 power, an onboard water booster pump, and a flow meter for consistent mixes. Its star wheel conveying system keeps dry material separate from water in the mixing chamber, giving us a competitive edge over similar units."

Kent further notes, "Installers of self-leveling cementitious mixes, fireproofing applicators, and stucco applicators will benefit most from this machine. Additionally, we see potential in the precast market for filling joints and connections with mortar."

The expansion of EZG's pump line with the Mud Hog® Pump MPC-240 signifies the company's commitment to providing quality, dependable equipment to various construction sectors. "This new addition not only enhances our product line but also opens doors to new markets," adds Kent.

The Mud Hog® Pump MPC-240 offers ease of operation with features such as a standard water pump, quick-change device for tool-free worm pump replacement, and a user-friendly control panel. Optional radio-controlled remote and hopper extensions are also available.
