Association Jack Dubberly, former SCPI engineer, has left SCPI to join the Stearns Rogers Mfg. Co., Denver, Colo.. New York CSI Chapter and SCPI will cooperate in sponsoring five evening meetings this fall for New York specification writers, engineers and architects. Sessions are scheduled for Oct, 10, 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 14.

The Clay Products Association of the Southwest has announced the appointment of Edwin E. Nowlin as Architectural Representative of the Association for the territory of Oklahoma City to Amarillo. Mr. Nowlin is a native of Stamford, Texas, and graduated from the school of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma in 1955. Ex- the Clay Products Association is W. D. Ramey, ProGoldblatt Tool Co. has released a catalog exclusively for brick, block, and stone masons and contractors containing over 225 different tools... Research will be the theme of the 1961 annual convention of SCPI to be held in Washington, D. C., Nov. 6-8.... The United States Bureau of the Budget has recommended the 3-year period 1957-59 as the new standard base period for general purpose index number prepared by Federal Government Agencies, beginning with Jan. 1962.
