GARY, INDIANA The Mason Contractors Association of Indiana in cooperation with Structural Clay Products Institute and the Portland Cement Association presented at the Indiana University Gary Center a Masonry Short Course. Architects, engineers and contractors attended the course in near capacity crowds. Starting February 27th the group heard a session devoted to Concrete Masonry. On March 6th the meeting was concurrent with Brick and Tile, and the final course was on Design and Construction. The Indiana Chapter headed by Marvin Argenta, Chapter President; and Joseph Clifford, Immediate Past President, did an outstanding job in scheduling and planning the event. Speakers for the various sessions were: Carl Roth, Regional Director, SCPI; Robert McKean, Housing Engineer, Portland Cement Association; and Ward Martin, Field Manager, PCA.
