Management Changes
An extensive change in the management structure of Koehring Company has been announced by Julie R. Steelman, president and board chairman of the Milwaukee-based multi-division firm. The restructuring involves the creation of four new vice president posts and a regrouping responsibilities in three existing vice president positions.
Under the new set up, Koehring will have three vice president of operations who will be responsible for the performance of the Divisions assigned to them under the "group" method of combining Divisions with mutual marketing interests. There also emerges a vice president-international who will direct the Company's export and overseas activities.
The four new vice president positions and officers appointed are: W. Marchant, Excavator Group; E. Burton, General Construction Machinery Group; W. H. Bennett, Industrial Machinery Group; and E. Hill, International. Responsibilities of the three existing vice presidencies have expanded as follows: Vice president-finance, a post filled by O. Mertz, now also includes central services; E. O. Martinson's post of vice president-research and development has been expanded to include manufacturing; the position of vice president marketing, previously held by E. Hill, has been broadened to include customer relations and is as yet unfilled.
