Universal Mfg. Corp. has announced the appointment of Builders Equipment Service, Inc., Charlottesville, Va., as distributor of its complete line of scaffolding products. Winners of the Colorado Chapter Golf Outing are: Gene Erwin, Eric Oberg, Budd Barr, Doug Krug and Norman Schillo. Joining the ranks as Alderman is Chuck Bolek, Jones Engineering Co. Chuck is the new 3rd Ward representative in Des-Plaines, Ill. and he joins fellow Alderman Joseph Szabo in that city. Eastern Seabord Apprenticeship Conference will be held at Chalfonte Haddon Hall, Atlantic City, June 14-18.
Joseph Watterson has resigned as editor of the A. I. A. Journal, a post that he has held since January of 1957. Topic for February Informational Meeting of the Arizona Masonry Guild was "Engineered Brickwork", presented by Don Wakefield, Region 12, SCPI. Newly elected Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Natco Corp. is James T. Bolan. Mr. Bolan has been Secretary-Treasurer of the firm since 1964 while prior to that he was President of Great Lake Industries, Inc. and Iowa Soap Co. In addition he served as Executive Vice President of Western Stoneware Co. The Mason Contractors Association of Memphis held their Seventh Annual A.L.A. Awards Program on April 20th at the Colonial Country Club.
John Aldag has been appointed sales representative for the Construction Equipment Div., Stone Conveyor Co., Honeoye, N. Y. in charge of northeastern sales of Stone's new line of contractors equipment. It was announced by John L. Spencer, the firm's Vice President. The Chicago office of George A. Fuller Co. has moved to the Brunswick Building, 69 W. Washington St. with the new telephone 236-0377. The Colorado Mason Contractors Association has opened new offices at 123 Vallejo St., Denver, Colo. 80223. The Minneapolis Chapter has just released its new Directory. Under the leadership of Tom Eggen it is bigger, better and more complete.
