Badger Dynamics Builds in Wisconsin
Badger Dynamics Inc., Port Washington, Wis., is in the process of building a new manufacturing and office facility in a Port Washington industrial park.
Recently formed to manufacture rough terrain forklifts, Badger Dynamics expects the new facility totalling 72,000 sq. ft. to be completed in six months. This is phase one of a two-phase program calling for the construction of a second 52,000 sq. ft. building in about five years.
Dignitaries on hand included H. P. Mueller, Jr., president of the firm; Mayor James Stacker of Port Washington, and William C. Kidd, secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Business Development. Following the actual breaking of ground for the building, Mueller welcomed the local civic and political leaders present and briefly articulated the Badger philosophy.
Kidd related the establishment of Badger Dynamics to the burgeoning economic expansion in the state. He emphasized this business success by pointing out, "The development of new plants and companies has increased by 30% for the first five months of 1973 over the corresponding five-month period in 1972. In addition, over 4,700 new jobs were generated during this period."
Badger Dynamics' initial product offering includes two models of vertical-mast forklifts.
Now available is the 7th edition of "Serial Number Field Guide," a valuable pocket-size reference for contractors and other equipment users to determine the year of manufacture of used construction machinery. The guide is available at $15 per copy from AED Research & Services Corp., 615 W. 22nd St., Oak Brook, Ill. 60521.
