IMI Completes Introductory Phase on
Engineering Design Module III for Educators

The International Masonry Institute has wound up the initial phase of introducing its new Engineering Design Module III by holding five seminars for engineering educators in various regions of the country.

The purpose of the seminars was to present a short course to educators on the background of the educational program, the development of design codes and standards, and suggestions for proper implementation of the instructional material.

The seminars were held in New York, Boston, Toronto, St. Louis and San Francisco. Of the 117 persons who attended the lectures, 97 were educators representing 78 engineering schools in the U.S. and Canada. The continued on page 24
