MCAA Onboarding Safety Compliance Videos

The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is proud to release the first new safety compliance videos for members of the MCAA.  The first topic in the series covers Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Additional modules in the series will focus on:

  • Hazard Communication and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Each video will feature critical safety elements for new employees to be aware of before they step foot on the job site. The videos will be available online through the MCAA in both English and Spanish for members to access and utilize at no cost.  Tests will also be available for employees to demonstrate they have viewed and retained information presented in the videos. Symbiont Construction, Inc. of Butler, Wisc. is the latest company to have earned certification through the Masonry Certification program, sponsored by the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA). The MCAA has developed the national Masonry Certification program to provide customers with a tool to select mason contractors who are committed to quality and end-user satisfaction. Quality of work and end-user satisfaction are at the foundation of the certification program. Companies must earn 75.00 credit hours and pass an exam in order to become certified. In addition, companies must obtain 45.00 credits every three years to renew their certification. “We congratulate Symbiont Construction, Inc. in their commitment to quality service. Our goal is to provide architects, designers, construction contractors and consumers with an easy way to select and specify professional mason contractors,” said Jeff Buczkiewicz, President and CEO of the MCAA. “Certification now gives them the tools to seek out contractors who have committed their entire firm to meet the stringent requirements of the program.” For more information about certification, visit
