Air Barrier Seminars
Presented in Canada
Interest from Boston, Winnipeg, Manitoba and most parts of Ontario brought architects, engineers, building officials and specifiers together with local mason contractors to identical seminars on "Basic Principles of Air Barriers in the Building Envelope" held recently in Ottawa and Toronto.
More than 200 individuals attended the presentations featuring speakers from the Institute of Research in Construction (NRC) and the Ontario Masonry Contractors Association. Supplier members of the association involved with air barrier products presented tablet tabletop displays for viewing and discussion by the attendees.
The seminars were presented by the Ontario Masonry Industry Promotion Fund and co-sponsored by the Ottawa Regional Masonry Contractors Association and the Toronto Masonry Promotion Fund.
