CHANGES & GROWTH

Jung/Brannen Associates, architects, has announced a change of address for their New York office. New quarters are at 584 Broadway, New York, New York 10012. Phone 212/431-8366.

Emerson Electric and Robert Bosch have signed a letter of intent to establish a joint venture for the development, manufacture and distribution of power tools. Both firms will have an equal interest in the venture. The new venture would combine Skil Corporation, an Emerson subsidiary, and Robert Bosch Power Tool, a U.S. subsidiary of Robert Bosch.

Edward Ehrbar, Pelham Manor, New York, has added JCB Incorporated's line of construction and materials handling equipment to their existing product range. Ehrbar's primary customer base, served from three locations, is to municipalities and large contractors.

Huls America has opened a new specialty silanes plant in Theodore, Alabama. Huls silanes are used in a wide range of applications, including adhesives, sealants, coatings and other construction products.

Trenwyth Industries has created a new international division to market its high end architectural concrete products overseas. New division will be under the management of Linda Adcock.

Schwing America, a manufacturer of concrete and sludge pumps, in expanding its product offering by creating a small line division to market mechanical and smaller capacity hydraulic grout, mortar and concrete pumps. Product design for the mechanical pumps was acquired from Judge, Incorporated, along with certain production and engineering equipment. Dave Rudin has been hired as the salesmanager of the new division. Manufacturing for the new division is located in Safety Harbor, Florida.

Excellence in Masonry Awards Program Winner

ANTHONY J. ZOTOLLO, chairman of the Masonry Institute of New York City and Long Island presented commemorative plaques late in October to Phil Rosen and Saverio Morelli in recognition of their work on the Carnegie Hall Tower in New York City. The tower was the winning entry in the commercial or residential building category in the 4th annual Excellence in Masonry Awards program sponsored by the Masonry Institute of NYC & LI. Rosen and Morelli (joint venture) was the mason contractor on the award winning project.
